Kundalini Workshop/Class

Created by Yoga Bhajan, Kundalini Yoga is often called the 'yoga of awareness' where the mental, physical, and nervous energies of the body and put them under the domain of the will, the instrument of the soul.

In the workshop you will learn more about Kundalini Yoga and the basic principles you sould understand to help when attending a class.

In the class we follow the Radiant Body approach to Kundalini Yoga, with a Kriya as the main part. The aim will be to help balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purifiy the blood. It brings balance to the body, mind, and soul.Kundalini Yoga is a branch of the ancient traditional system of Yoga which stands out for it's Kriya's (fixed system of movements, eye mudras, postures, breathing techniques, meditations and chants).  These Kriya's have been designed to bring about a certain desired result, so for example there are Kriyas designed for targeting mental fatigue; the glandular system; waking up; channeling energy up the spine....and hundreds more.

Pilates Workshop – The Foundations of Pilates

This workshop will cover the fundamental building blocks needed to know in order to practice Pilates. Once you understand the basics of Pilates you will gain a much safer and effective result.

Pilates Workshop – Advanced Practice

This workshop will help you to take your Pilates practice to the next level, helping you to achieve your optimum Pilates body.

This workshop is suitable for:

Those who have been practicing Pilates for over 2 years

Those who already understanding the Pilates foundations, are practicing Pilates and are particularly fit with good range of movement

NB: I will be ensuring that anyone attending this workshop is suitably ready. If unsure then please discuss with me directly.

You will learn about:

A refresher on posture, thoracic breathing and core muscles

How to know your own ability level

How to adapt your exercises in class to suit a more advanced level

Practicing a range of advanced Pilates exercises

The workshop will finish with a sample class to practice what you have learnt.

£25 per person – 3 hours

Workshops will only run if 4 or more people are booked.  If cancelled a full refund will be given.
